Following National Offer Day

Following national offer day (Tuesday, 16th April 2024), further applications will be considered throughout the summer term and, where places are available, offers will be made in accordance with the school’s admissions criteria.

Applications received after national offer day up to 12pm on Thursday, 25th April will be considered and parents/carers notified of the outcome of their application on Friday, 26th April 2024.

Applications received after 12pm on Thursday, 25th April up to 12pm on Thursday, 2nd May will be considered and parents/carers notified of the outcome of their application on Friday, 3rd May.

This weekly process will continue throughout the summer term (during term time only) with the deadline for applications being 12pm on the Thursday and parent/carers being notified of the outcome of their application on the Friday.

Timeline for Admission Appeals for Year R – September 2024

Following national offer day on Tuesday, 16^th April 2024, if you applied for Willow Grove Primary School and were unsuccessful, you have a right to appeal against the decision to an independent appeal panel.

The appeals timetable* for Willow Grove Primary School for students starting in Year R in September 2024 is shown below. Stage 1 hearing and Stage 2 individual hearings will be held virtually, with meeting invites issued by the Clerk to the Independent Appeal Panel nearer the time.

Appeal hearings will be held during this week.

Appellants will be advised as to precise day and time by the clerk.

Should you wish to appeal against the decision not to offer your child a place at Willow Grove Primary School, please email [email protected] providing the name of the child, their date of birth, and an email address where the appeal paperwork can be sent. Requests for appeal forms must be made by 3pm on Wednesday, 15 May 2024.

*Please note it may not be possible to include within this timetable any appeals that are lodged after the deadline.
