Welcome to Willow Grove Primary School’s website. I am honoured to have been appointed as the Headteacher and will take up this exciting new opportunity in April 2024.
Creating a brand new purpose built school is a unique challenge. My aim is that every pupil excels, not just academically, but personally too and that the school has a culture of aspiration for high expectations and continuous improvement.
My focus in the first few months will be to engage with the local community, informing on progress of the build and sharing news and information on admissions and events for prospective parents and carers. The Trust will employ a team of the very best teachers and support staff, who will provide an outstanding education for local children.
As a Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching, I bring a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to ensuring the highest standards of academic success. As well as being an effective and experienced school leader, I currently work closely with the Royal Opera House, reflecting my passion for the Arts and the transformative impact it can have on education. I am committed to incorporating creativity into Willow Grove Primary’s curriculum and ensuring that the Arts and Music play a pivotal role in the children's educational journey.
I am a resident of Wixams and I am determined that Willow Grove will be an important community hub and bring improved facilities and opportunities for us all.
I look forward to working collaboratively with parents, guardians, stakeholders and Kingsbridge Educational Trust to develop a school that, not only educates, but also inspires.
